Just recently my son Peter decided he wanted to make a clock for his bedroom, he decided he wanted to do an ipod shuffle clock. We started by measuring the ipod and scaling it up to a 20:1 scale.
Marking out the shape.
Cutting the shape out with a jigsaw.
Sanding the cut edges smooth.
Marking out for the front circle.
Drilling an 8mm hole for the clock mechanism.
Undercoating the MDF.
Marking out the circle ready to cut.
Cutting the circle out, this was harder than it looked for peter.
The circle.
The finished circle.
Circle now attached to back and the final painting.
The finished piece.
The finished piece and the ipod we copied. With a very happy peter.
